Day 9: DISNEYLAND!
We woke up this morning to Ms. V speaking in her Minnie Mouse Voice and a
delicious breakfast of cereal and half a banana. We walked to Disney as a
group, still trying to adjust to being lobsters. Our Disney tickets had all
kinds of bright and fun things on them. Some of the tickets had Buzz and Woody,
while others had Dory and Marlin! While we sat in line for Disney, with
excitement in our eyes, we talked about all the awesome things that we wanted to
do once we entered the gates.
Security took a hot minute to get
through, but once we were in, we headed to the train station to take a group
picture. Once we were done with that, Ms. V led us to several different rides to conquer as a group. First up was Indiana Jones, a dark bumpy ride, searching for gold through different caves. Secondly, we took on Pirates of the Caribbean, where we sailed through the rough waters of the Caribbean, watching Jack Sparrow in his endeavor for gold as well. Our last ride as a group was the Thunder Mountain, which was our first outside and real-ish roller coaster! It was very overwhelming with so many people trying to maneuver to different rides, but it didn’t take too long. After this ride, our group gathered at the park’s castle to disperse into our dwarf groups!
The sleepy’s along with many other
groups rushed over to Space Mountain to ride the exhilarating ride… only to
find it was closed at the time:( Most of us resulted to riding the Star Tours
ride, which was a Star Wars stimulation, where we flew across the galaxy. This
took quite a long time seeing as though it is very popular, but after that we
all met up at the castle to split up into different groups.
In these groups, people had the
option to ride different rides, eat (either inside the park or out), shop, or
just hang out before we had to meet back at McDonalds by 10/10:30 to catch the
bus back to the Anaheim RV park. Overall it was a great day exploring in this
magical place!
